Great news from Immigration New Zealand and the NZ Government today with the border to fully reopen by the 1st of August this year
It’s also great to finally see clarity around long term visa pathways for Work to Residence visas and Residency Class visas, as well as the framework around the new Talent Accredited visas. From the 4th of July accredited employers will be able to hire confidently, based around the Green List of occupations linked below.
All qualifications listed as requirements are based on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) unless stated otherwise.
Occupations that have a fast-track to residence
If you are eligible and have worked in any of these jobs, you can come to New Zealand on a work visa from 4 July 2022 and apply for residence from September 2022. Minimum salary requirements will apply for some jobs and change with the median wage each year.
We will provide more information about eligibility and the application process for residence soon.
